Stockholm Syndrome – Positive Contact

leave a comment »

Positive contact is a truly odd situation.

Positive Contact is generated by a lack of negative experiences. It appears that positive contact is reinforced to a greater degree if there have been negative experiences (beatings, rapes and murder) early in the event, followed by Positive Contact.

Basically when the negatives become less, it is considered positive and the captives consider less bad as positive.
