15th Anniversary of 9/11

with 2 comments

As we commemorate the 15th anniversary of 9/11, let us not forget that we are indeed involved in a war against terrorism. These people seek to terrorize and destroy us and these United States of America. We must be alert, aware, and always on guard against our enemy.

Always, but especially over the next few days, if you see suspicious people, activities, or objects, notify the authorities and let them know.

Let’s keep America safe!

God Bless you, and God Bless America!

Stockholm Syndrome – Sensing and Identifying with captors

leave a comment »

Captives / Hostages have been know to sense and identify or relate with the human qualities of the captors. It is called the “poor devil” syndrome. The terrorists may talk about their own mental or physical suffering; their perceptions of being victims rather than aggressors. Hostages may then transfer anger from the hostage takers to society or the situation that created the dilemma in which they are now victims. The hostages may then feel the terrorists are entitled to their protection and care, possible even their help and support.

Being taken hostage

with one comment

If ever taken hostage, it is good to remember that the hostage taker(s) / terrorists want you alive or you would not be a hostage. Yes, you should plan to escape if possible, but not give so much resistance as to make the captors decide to get rid of the problem and just kill you.
